A Place of Love

While mastering a subject certainly builds a student’s confidence, there is something special about participating in the arts. Getting up on a stage and singing gives kids a chance to step outside their comfort zone. As they improve and see their own progress, their self-confidence will continue to grow.

Theatre South Playhouse started as a small theater company in residence at the Rosen JCC in 2009.  Over the years, the company has grown and has served over 500 students helping them grow and thrive through acting, singing and dancing.

It is our mission to nurture, challenge, educate and empower our artists and audiences, in order to inspire the South West Orlando community.  We are a safe environment for children, teens and adults to learn cultural arts through participation in classes, workshops and productions.  We are a family of dedicated artists and teaching artists who provide high quality productions and events, adding culture and creativity to our community. To achieve this goal, we rely on the generosity and support of individuals. As a non-profit organization we rely on the generosity of our donors to raise the funds we need.
