Puppetry for the Modern Stage | Conservatory/ Public

Dive into the magical world of puppetry with this hands-on class. Learn to bring new characters
to life through motion, music, and more! Students will have the chance to experiment with
shadow puppets, master hand-and-rod puppetry, and even play with larger puppet creatures and
show-quality creations. We’ll learn how to embrace a new type of storytelling, culminating in a
day of puppetry performances to be planned and executed by the students themselves.
