Dear Future Academy Student,

For seventeen years, the mission of Theatre South Playhouse has been to nurture, challenge, educate, and empower artists of all ages.

The Theatre South Academy was established in 2019 to offer an innovative alternative to traditional public and private schooling. Students attend our Academy in person through a combination of accredited online coursework and hands-on instruction, supported by certified teachers and tutors from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Students interested in our Performing Arts track will be enrolled in our one-of-a-kind Conservatory training program and then continue their day with two additional hours of immersive theatrical arts education. Our teaching staff is composed of talented, creative professionals who are deeply passionate about providing students with the tools, mentorship, and support necessary for both artistic and academic success.

Together, the Academy and Conservatory serve students in grades 6th–College by seamlessly integrating academic studies with performing arts training into a cohesive daily curriculum. With three distinct learning tracks available, Theatre South Academy offers a personalized path for every student.
