TSP is looking for our next group of Teen and College Interns for our 2026 Fall Semester Professional, Training, and Conservatory season.
We are seeking Interns for our Conservatory/Pre-Professional Enrichment classes as well as our Professional Productions of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS and MATILDA and our Pre-Professional Training Production of MATILDA Jr!
The perfect candidate is 16 years of age or more and is someone reliable, self motivated, energetic, and with a "yes, and" attitude.
We are pleased to offer two different options for our Interns!
Track 1: Volunteer - Earn invaluable hands on experience at a professional theater.
*Complete any needed community service hours required for Bright Futures or other programs.
Track 2: Get paid a stipend of $200 per project.
*We have a limited number of paid internships for the candidates who show exemplary leadership skills and are based on a first come first serve basis.
Both tracks will learn hands on from and work with our incredible teaching artists, production manager, stage managers, and creative teams.
Internship Opportunities:
TSP Conservatory/Pre-Professional Enrichment Classes
Interns will take professional level classes with our conservatory students and assist the teaching artists and TSP staff. There will be a showcase performance for each class at the end of the semester. This internship is not eligible for payment.
Beginning Tuesday, August 11th through Thursday, December 17th.
Mondays & Tuesdays: 3pm - 6pm
Wednesdays: 2pm - 4pm
Thursdays: 3pm - 6pm (Thursdays are ideally suited for strong dancers)
LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS - Professional Show (4-5 rehearsals a week)
Rehearsals: July 27th through September 10th
Tech Week: September 12th - 17th
Shows: September 18th - October 4th
MATILDA - Professional Show (4-5 rehearsals a week)
Rehearsals: September 8th - October 30th
Tech Week: November 1st - 5th
Shows: November 6th - November 22nd
MATILDA Jr - Pre-Professional Show (2 rehearsals a week)
Auditions: Wednesday, August 12th
Callbacks: Saturday, August 15th
Rehearsals: Wednesdays & Saturdays August 19th - December 2nd
Tech Week: December 5th - 9th
Shows: December 10th - 13th
PRODUCTION MANAGER ASSISTANT INTERN
Scheduled as needed, and as available, to work with, learn from, and assist our Production Manager.
Schedule: August through December

Shows: September 18th - October 4th

Tech Week: October 29th - November 5th
Shows: November 6th - 22nd

*Interns will be assigned based on their availability and experience.*
**While some internships, especially the Conservatory Classes, may have performance opportunities this is not a performing internship. Applicants should not expect to be cast in any of our shows as an exchange for or in addition to this internship.**
***Interviews will be required and will be held on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 1pm to 4pm. Candidates that have previously interned for TSP will NOT need to interview.***
