Join us on Mondays for a musical theater and performance based class that teaches proper vocal technique, stage presence, and the honest acting approach to performing a song. This class will end with a session showcase on the new Theatre South stage.

Join us on Mondays for an advanced musical theater and performance based class that teaches proper vocal technique, stage presence, and the honest acting approach to performing a song. This class is taught by professional musical theater director Bert Rodriguez and TSP Teaching Artist Maddie Lane, and will end with a session showcase on the Theatre South Playhouse stage

Theatre South’s Elite Performing and Touring Group. Join us for this fast-paced musical theater class as we strengthen our performance and audition technique, by working on solos, group numbers, choreography, story telling and stage presence.
This class is taught by professional musical theater director Bert Rodriguez and TSP Artistic Director Hillary Brook, and will end with a session showcase on the Theatre South Playhouse stage

Acting on Stage | Level 1
2nd - 8th Grade

A great start with the basics in stage acting. In this class, you will learn the basics of movement and voice, how to position your body for maximum breath control and using your body effectively to tell a story. Once you have mastered basic stage acting, you should move onto a scene study course.

Join us for an invigorating yet gentle yoga class. Through gentle yoga we give ourselves the time, energy, and love we deserve. Breath and movement are the pathways we use to restore and nurture the body and mind. We have a chance to experience harmony, when we let ourselves experience every pose through the breath. Strain isn't necessary to increase flexibility, stamina, and relaxation.

Tai Chi is often referred to as “Meditation in Movement” with its deliberate systematic movements that combine physical and mental exercise with conscious breathing. The techniques are simple and immediately available to induce a feeling of peacefulness and mindfulness.

Join us for a Meisner/Method-based scene study class: a comprehensive exploration into the vital elements of film acting. This class will help you learn how to use your own unique authenticity to bring a character to life, exploring scene performance, preparation, and script analysis. Learn how to create organic spontaneity in scene work, preparing you to audition and get cast in TV and Film projects.

All Cell Phones must be left out of the theater and dance studio unless you are using it for approved recording.
