Join us this summer for weekly theatre camps and our exciting summer stock shows!
We offer programming for campers in 1st grade through 12th grade.
Camps will run from June 1st through August 7th.

K-Pop Dance Hunters Camp
Join us for a week of K-Pop music and dance themed after the smash hit movie "K-Pop Demon Hunters" as well as popular K-Pop groups!
There will be a 30 minute presentation on Friday, June 5th at 2:00 PM

"How Far I'll Go" Camp Moana
Come journey with us to a Polynesian Paradise as we pay tribute to the music and stories of our favorite young Heroine. A one week musical theater camp, focusing on vocal, acting and dance technique. How far will you go? Join us for a performance at the end of the week!

"The Greatest Show" Camp
THIS IS THE GREATEST CAMP! Join us as we bring back our Greatest Show Camp, exploring the music and choreography from the hit film, The Greatest Showman! Students will have a blast as the TSP space comes alive in this circus-themed adventure.

Extra, extra! Read all about it! The Newsies and Matilda are making their way to TSP! If you don’t wanna grow up, this is the camp for you! Campers will work on various musical numbers from the beloved Broadway hits!

"Shiz U" Witch Training Camp
Congratulotions, new students! You have been accepted into the newest class at dear old Shiz University! Your witch training begins … NOW! You’ll enjoy a week at Oz’s most famous school learning some of the grimmerie’s most magical spells, songs, and everything a young witch, or wizard, needs to know!

"Journey To Oz" 2-Week Camp
Take a trip over the rainbow and explore the enchanting land of Oz! Over the course of this 2-week camp we will explore some of our favorite songs from all of the Oz musicals. Full of choreography, dancing, singing, and acting this is a trip down the yellow brick road you don’t want to miss! Join us for a special performance at the end of the 2nd week!

"Live At The Improv!" Improv Camp
Whose line is it anyway??? Join us for a week long exploration of Improv! Learn the skills of Improv as a performer and an artist, teaching you valuable life and work skills while giving you some laughs along the way. In this camp, you will learn the basics of movement and voice through improv and theatre games. Learn how to position your body for maximum breath control and use your body effectively to tell a story.

"So You Think You Can Dance" Intensive
Join us for a 2 week intensive just for dancers! If you love dance and musical theatre, this is the camp for you! Award winning dance instructor and choreographer, Jonny Jones, will work with the dancers on technique and skills as they prepare for a showcase that will feature a selection of dances of various themes, decades, and styles.
*This class will focus on ballet, jazz, contemporary, and musical theatre.
**Those interested in this intensive will need to submit an audition video. Please email manager@theatresouthplayhouse.org for information details on the requirements for the audition video.
*** Not all dancers will be admitted as this intensive is for students with solid dance experience.

Mic Check! Dream Roles Cabaret
Are the bright lights of Broadway calling your name? Is there a song you simply have to sing? A part you would give anything to play? Then this is the camp for you! Campers will explore their dream roles as they work together to build a spectacular show stopping showcase. Join us for a performance at the end of the week!

* Camps must have a minimum of 5 students registered for the camp to run. You will be notified if the camp will not be happening at least two weeks prior. In the event that a camp will not be happening, a full refund will be available.
*Theatre South Playhouse observes a strict no refund policy. Should you need to cancel, the payment will be credited to your account to be used for another group class, summer camp, or youth training show in the future. Credits are good for one calendar year.

*Morning & After Care need at least 3 campers signed up, and paid, in advance to run. We can not guarantee Morning & After Care. You will be notified a month out of the possibility of no Morning or After Care and 2 weeks prior in the event of cancellation. In the event that we are unable to offer Morning or After Care a full refund will be available.

Summer Interns
Theatre South Playhouse partners with CareerSouce to offer paid Internships to those that are 15-19 years of age.
We also have spots available to Intern and earn Community Service Hours for Bright Futures.
