Theatre South has decided to rethink Musical Theatre Workshops during this unique time in history. Working with our friends from "The Original Production",  Steps From Broadway will feature Jerry Mitchell and his team teaching the original choreography (Via pre-recording shared on Zoom) with "Positive" from Legally Blonde, The Musical with live on Zoom step-by-step instruction from TSP's Audrey Harden!  Join us this Summer. 

Theatre South has decided to rethink Musical Theatre during this unique time in history. Join us for our newest endeavor to rehearse and perform music from"The Lightning Thief" for this very unique time in our lives. After online auditions and songs have been assigned, this enrichment program will rehearse the show's music either one-on one, in small groups or together as a cast via our online platform with our show's Musical Director Bert Rodriguez. Once the theater is safe to reopen, Director Hillary brook will join the cast for a short 2 day tech and a weekend of performances.

 *OUR FIRST SET OF AUDITIONS HAVE OCCURRED- STILL SEEKING SINGERS FOR SOLO AND ENSEMBLE PARTS IN THE PROJECT.

ALL AUDITIONS AND REGISTRATION WILL BE DUE ON 4/22/2020 FOR A CHANCE  AT A SOLO OR DUET.

Join us on Mondays for our beginner musical theatre and performance based class that teaches proper vocal technique, stage presence, and the honest acting approach to performing a song. This class is taught by professional musical theatre director Bert Rodriguez and TSP Teaching Artist Maddie Lane and ends with a session showcase on the Theatre South Playhouse stage.

Join us on Mondays for an hour of musical theatre dance featuring choreography from classic and modern Broadway shows. A combo based class that teaches proper dance technique, stage presence, and a fun way to dance to your favorite shows. This class will cater to all levels and is taught by the amazing Miss Audrey.

Join us on Mondays for an hour of body boot camp with the body master Miss Audrey! She will get us in shape as we stay at home during this unusual time in history. Sit-ups, push-up, and even a little bit of PIYO (Pilates and Yoga combo). Let's get in sculpted together and have a dance party while we are at it.

Join us for an online group film/tv acting class. The class focus will be centered on auditioning, commercial copy, scene study and monologues. A comprehensive exploration into the vital elements of film acting. This class will help you learn how to use your own unique authenticity to bring a character to life, exploring scene performance, preparation, and script analysis. Learn how to create organic spontaneity in scene work, preparing you to audition and get cast in TV and Film projects.

Join us on Thursdays for an hour of musical theatre dance featuring fun choreography for classic and modern Broadway shows. A combo based class that teaches proper dance technique, stage presence, and a fun way to dance to your favorite shows. Connect your laptop to your biggest TV and move the couch over- it's time to dance! This class will cater to all levels and is taught by the amazing Miss Rachel.
